How to report an error
Send the URL, the relevant sentence or calculator behaviour, and any supporting primary or authoritative source through the Contact page.
What we review
- Incorrect or outdated factual claims
- Broken or misleading calculator logic
- Wrong units, formulas or labels
- Links to superseded regulations or guidance
- Material wording that could change how a reader understands the project
What happens next
We review the issue, check the underlying source or calculation and update the page when a correction is justified. Material changes may also update the page’s last-reviewed date or add an explanatory note.
Minor edits
Spelling, grammar, formatting, accessibility labels and link repairs that do not change the meaning of a page may be corrected without a formal correction note.
Disagreements about estimates
A local contractor price that differs from a planning example does not automatically mean the page is wrong. We compare the location, time period, scope, material specification and inclusions before changing a published range.
